TWO CIRCLES
Outdoor games
Up to 99 players
For everyone
Duration 20–30 minutes
Materials
As many colored handkerchiefs or scarves as there are players.
Description
You divide the players into pairs and have them arranged in front of each other. All players then have to form a large circle. Players in the "innermost circle" should stand with their legs apart, with their teammates standing behind them. In the center of the circle place as many handkerchiefs or scarves as there are participating couples minus one. When play begins, players in the outermost circle run clockwise, making a full circle, after which they pass under their partner's spread legs and grab a handkerchief or scarf. On the next round the players are reversed, the one who ran now stands still inside the circle and vice versa. The pair that is left without a scalp is eliminated, a handkerchief or scarf is removed from the center, and they start again.
Who wins?
The pair of players who remain in the game when all others are eliminated.
What does the game teach?
