Tug of war in four
Games outdoor
Players up to 50
For teenagers | For young people
Duration 40-60 minutes
Team games
Equipment
Two sturdy ropes or cords.
Description
Two ropes are taken and tied together to form a cross with the four arms of the same length. The knot in the center must be very strong and not move.
You divide the players into four teams that are arranged on the four sides of a fairly large square, with the cross rope on the ground in the middle of the playing field. The knot of the rope should be at the same distance from the four sides of the square.
You number the players on each team starting from the right: 1, 2, 3, etc. Each team must have the same number of players.
When the game begins, an animator will say a number aloud. The four players assigned the called number rush to the middle of the square, grab the piece of rope in front of them, and try to pull the rope toward them, running the knot past their team's line. Whoever succeeds earns their team a point.
To make the game more eventful, other numbers and related players can be called in to help those who are playing, or two or more numbers can be called right away.
Who win?
The team that scores the most points.
