A box of matches, about 120 pieces of wood, a container. The number of pieces of wood may vary depending on the number of participants.
Description
The 120 pieces of wood should be scattered on the ground, within about 10 feet. One player (the captain) lights a match and, when it is about to go out, he lights another one; meanwhile the other players must collect 100 twigs for the captain, so that he or she can keep warm all winter long. Pieces of wood should be collected in the time that two matches burn.
Only the first match is lit using the box, the second match will have to be lit with the first one while it is still burning.

Equipment:
Some 15 cm long pieces of wood, ribbon or tape (plastic), bins or containers or string to mark out centres to hit or reach. Drill a hole in the center of the piece of wood and pass two pieces of ribbon or tape about 1.5 meters long through it. Tie them around the wood halfway down the length. If you run out of time to make the hole, tie the ribbon or webbing securely to the piece of wood.
