Duration 40–60 minutes
Team games
Materials
Sheets of paper, pencils, colored pencils, scissors.
Description
The animator prepares a bunch of cards on which he or she will write words related to animals, people and objects of uncommon and unusual use; they should be difficult subjects to depict, such as: a cornflower, a threshing machine, a lathe. The difficulty of the words chosen should be related to the age of the participants. You then divide the players into two teams. The first team will choose a player (the artist) this one will randomly draw one of the tickets and, without showing it to teammates and opponents, must draw the word written on the ticket. He may not use letters, numbers or acronyms and will have 5 minutes. At the end of 5 minutes (or when the artist has finished his drawing), the other players will have to try to guess what is depicted. When one of the two teams guesses the subject depicted, play begins again, leaving the role of artist to a player from the other team.
Who wins?
If one of the artist’s teammates guesses, his or her team will score 2 points; if an opponent guesses, the artist’s team will score 0 points.
