THE CASTAWAYS

Newspaper sheets, music player.

Each player sits on a sheet of newspaper representing a raft. When the music starts, players must run around the field (the sea). When the music stops, they must return to a raft. The facilitator removes one raft each round. Those who are left without a raft are eliminated. The game continues until only one player remains.

The player who remains last in the game wins.

It promotes quick reflexes, “attention, speed, and handling of elimination.”
