THE ANTIDOTE TO LONELINESS

Everything you need to set up the rehearsal, lots of letters to make up the antidote against loneliness, glue, posters, etc…

A serious pandemic has struck the whole world, especially the big cities: loneliness. It affects men and women, young and old, and even children indiscriminately. There is no vaccine, but several groups of researchers think they have found some remedies. Now they set off to find the ingredients for these remedies. After a short launching scene, the players are divided into teams (groups of researchers), led by an animator. Teams must then set out to find the antidote to loneliness. This antidote consists of words, formed from the letters gained in the tests that the teams must pass. A playing field is defined (e.g. the neighbourhood, the village, etc...) within which there are as many stages as there are trials (it is better to foresee up to two or three stages more than the number of teams, to avoid that more than one team arrives at each stage). Each test is identified by a number and a colour (e.g. number 1 printed on a yellow sheet). Any test is fine i.e. anything that can be evaluated in a simple way: relays, quizzes, musical games, etc.... In the middle of the playing field there will be an entertainer who hands each team the number of the test they will face. Having passed the test, the team returns to the animator to have a new number and so on, until they have done all the tests or until the time available has expired. At the end of the time or the tests, each team has to compose with the conquered letters the antidote (i.e. words) against loneliness.

All or none. If all teams play well and are fair the pandemic is defeated.
