Description
Players represent fish, and two animators (or two children) form a net by holding hands in the center of an area designated as the sea. The fish must cross the sea without being touched by the net. If a fish is touched, it becomes part of the net by joining hands with the animators. The game continues until there is only one free fish left. The animators start the game in the center and as fish are caught, the net grows and it becomes more difficult for others to cross. Make sure the play area is safe and spacious to allow for movement.
Who wins?
The game is won by the last remaining free fish, that is, the one that manages to cross the sea without ever being caught by the net.
What does the game teach?
The game teaches agility, teamwork and strategy.
